Lenses with Varilux Ipseo New Edition have their front and back surfaces used to tailor the lens to the wearers. Both surfaces interact to stabilize the image to suit the visual behaviour of each wearer.
  • For head movers to perceive a very stable image, deviations are controlled to significantly reduce swim.
  • Image size is increased for eye movers to reduce retinal image displacement when a wearer’s eye sweeps across the lens.
  • W.A.V.E Technology is used to increase contrast and clarity.

The Ipseo New Edition not only makes use of the W.A.V.E. Technology to improve the visual performance, it also incorporates the Essilor's Advance Digital Surfacing Technology

To deliver its visual performance, the Ipseo New Edition is the first to be tested in a virtual simulator that is able to reproduce the visual effect of the lens in a virtual environment.

The Vision Print System has been designed to measure with precision the wearer’s visual strategy using the head eye ratio stability coefficient.
